Re-calibration

Euro Products is an accredited ISO 17025 Calibration Laboratory, we hold accreditation for calibration of all types of Diamond and Ball Indenters for Hardness measurements and for the Calibration of the majority of Hardness Test block Scales.

Our accreditation covers the following standards: 

• Rockwell Hardness Testing – ASTM E18 & ISO 6508
• Micro / Macro Vickers Hardness Testing – ASTM E92, E384 & ISO 6507
• Brinell Hardness Testing – ASTM E10 & ISO 6506
• Knoop Hardness Testing – ASTM E92, E384 & ISO 4545
• Leeb Hardness Testing – ASTM A956 & DIN 50156
• Portable Indenter Testing – DIN 50157

Euro Products can re-calibrate all your diamond and ball indenters and all your reference blocks, if we have the accreditation to do so.

Diamond indenters can be repolished to meet the specific standard requirements if they have become worn or damaged over prolonged use; we need to receive the diamond indenters before we can advise on the best course of action, this will either be repolishing and re-calibration, just re-calibration or in some cases when the diamond indenter is to damaged replacing the diamond indenter with a new one. (All rejected diamond indenters will be returned with the new replacement indenters.)

Reference hardness blocks can also be recalibrated if they meet the following criteria:

• Enough physical space on the original calibrated surface to do new calibration tests.
• No damage or hardness tests have been made on the support / bottom surface of the reference block.
• The top surface is not to scratched or rusty to prevent clear measurement of hardness tests requiring x-y measurements.

Reference blocks can be recalibrated to different hardness scales than the original calibration if required 

All Rockwell and Brinell ball indenters can have replacement carbide balls supplied, Rockwell ball indenters can also be recertified to the relevant standards.
